How to Get Mace V2 in Haze Piece
Skull Island, a fresh addition to the Second Sea, is your starting point for obtaining the Mace V2. To get this new sword, you must take down the island’s formidable boss, also known as Mace V2 Boss, or Kaido if you’ve watched the One Piece manga or anime. But here’s the catch: Mace V2 has a slim 1% drop rate, and it only drops if you’re already wielding Mace V1. The Mace V2 boss is easy to find, it’s directly ahead of Nami the Navigator, aka the spawn.
To put it simply, you’re looking at potentially 100 battles with the Mace V2 Boss to even have a shot at obtaining this elusive weapon. So gear up and get ready for a grind. However, if you’re after Gear 5 transformation ability, you’re going to need to face Mace V2 Boss to get the Dragon Orb,
Mace V2: The Moveset
The Mace V2 comes with two moves, consistent with most other weapons in Haze Piece:
- Z: Bauga Rush (Requires Sword Level 50)
- X: Violet Judgement (Requires Sword Level 150)
How to Get Mace V1 in Haze Piece
Before you can even think of getting Mace V2, you need its predecessor, Mace V1 in Haze Piece. To get it, you’ll need to defeat the original Mace Boss, who is generous enough to drop it 100% of the time. To reach this boss, you’ll have to unlock a cave gate behind Marine Base Town, which requires a Lava Key and some Lava Ore.
How to Get the Lava Key in Haze Piece
The Lava Key can be found at Marine Base spawn. Just look for a table and loot the key.
How to Get the Lava Ore in Haze Piece
To get your hands on Lava Ore, defeat the Marine Captain in Marine Base Town. But be prepared; the ore has a mere 5% drop rate.
