Lush Caves Guide
To find Lush Caves in Minecraft 1.18, you will need to locate Azalea Trees. These are bright green leaved trees with purple flowers that will only spawn above or inside of a Lush Cave biome. Once you have found this tree, you can dig down near it and you will eventually find a Lush Cave.
Azalea Trees can be a bit difficult to spot. However, if you’re lucky they will spawn in a biome that has contrasting colors, such as the badlands.
The trees are pretty small but have bright green leaves and the purple flowers that make them particularly noticeable. The more Azalea Trees you see in the area, the bigger the cave system is going to be!
Lush Cave biomes are the home to materials such as moss, moss carpets, spore blossoms, vines, cave vines, glow berries, and spore blossoms. You will also sometimes find clay beneath shallow lakes and dripleaves.
Another reason to find yourself in one of these biomes is because of the rare creature spawns you can find! If you’re lucky, you will come across the cute axolotl or the mysterious glow squid. You will also need to be careful, because these caves are dark, which means monsters will spawn regularly inside of them.
That’s everything we know about finding Lush Caves in Minecraft 1.18 Caves and Cliffs Part 2. You can learn a whole lot more about the game by visiting the Minecraft section of our website.
