Anime Vanguards Broken Pendants Guide – How to Evolve Todu into Todu (Unleashed)
The Broken Pendant, essential for evolving Todu into Todu (Unleashed), is obtained by completing Shibuya Legend Stage 2. Each completion rewards you with 1-3 Broken Pendants.
Farming Broken Pendants
Since you need 12 Broken Pendants for the evolution, you’ll need to run Shibuya Legend Stage 2 multiple times. The drop rate is random, so it could take anywhere from 4 to 12 runs to gather enough pendants. Focus on optimizing your team composition and strategy for quick and efficient clears.
Gathering Todu’s Evolution Materials
Besides Broken Pendants, you’ll also need the following Essence Stones and gold to evolve Todu into Todu (Unleashed):
- 38 Green Essence Stones
- 10 Blue Essence Stones
- 14 Yellow Essence Stones
- 14 Purple Essence Stones
- 3 Rainbow Essence Stones
- 15,000 Gold
Focus on completing Challenges and Legend Stages to get Essence Stones. Or you can craft Green Essence Stones into other Essence Stones.
- Convert x3 Green Essence Stone to get x1 Pink Essence Stone
- Convert x3 Green Essence Stone to get x1 Blue Essence Stone
- Convert x3 Green Essence Stone to get x1 Red Essence Stone
- Convert x3 Green Essence Stone to get x1 Yellow Essence Stone
- Convert x3 Green Essence Stone to get x1 Purple Essence Stone
- Convert x1 of every Essence Stone to get x1 Rainbow Essence Stone
You might receive a few Essence Stones from using Anime Vanguards codes, but despite using every code ever released, I’ve only received 2 Rainbow Essence Stones.
Evolving Todu
Once you have everything needed:
- Navigate to the Units Menu: Open your unit inventory and select Todu.
- Initiate Evolution: Click the “Evolve” button on Todu’s profile.
- Verify Requirements: The evolution screen will list all necessary materials. Any missing items will be highlighted in red. Ensure you have all 12 Broken Pendants and the required Essence Stones and gold.
- Confirm Evolution: Once you have everything, click the “Evolve” button again to complete the process and evolve Todu into Todu (Unleashed).
