Featured Smalllands

Smalland is an open-world survival game where players explore a vast world from a small perspective. Players can traverse various landscapes such as forests, swamps, and ruins, while discovering hidden NPCs that provide lore and knowledge. If you need help on how to get Light Armor in Smalland: Survive the Wilds, we have a detailed guide on what resources you need and how/where to get them!

How to get Light Armor

To get Light Armor, you will have to craft it with the NPC Herne, who is located in the center of map near The Great Tree. This armor set contains four different pieces that you can craft. This armor set is described as, “lightweight clothes that provide minimal protection but allow the wearer to move quickly.”

There are three pieces available in the set, but you can always mix and match from different armor sets to maximize the benefits or based on what resources you have enough of. This is an easier armor set to take advantage of early on in the game, but it offers little protection, no cold protection and has the primary benefit of improving movement speed. On the upside, it only requires Fiber to make. You will need 42x Fiber to craft all three pieces.

We recommend opting for the Padded Armor Set if it’s a colder season as it takes the same number of resources and is also available from Herne.

How to make Light Gauntlets

To make the Light Gauntlets, you will need 9x Fiber. It +2% movement speed and has 90/90 Durability.

How to make Light Leggings

To make the Light Leggings, you will need 15x Fiber. It provides +1 Protection, +2% movement speed, and has 90/90 Durability.

How to make Light Singlet

To make the Light Singlet, you will need 18x Fiber. It provides +1 Protection, +2% movement speed, and has 90/90 Durability.

For any item that has durability, using it will cause its durability to drop. When it only requires a minor repair, it is free to do at your camp, but if it has more major repair needed, it will cost materials to repair (similar to it took to create it, just less of the respective ingredients). This means that every time you’re back home, make sure to repair anything you can while it’s free!
