Anime Defenders Limit Breaker Guide – How to Get

You can get Limit Breakers in three ways; the first is by reaching level 25 of the new Athenyx Battlepass in Anime Defenders. The second is by completing the new Infinites in the Athenyx Realm. Another option is to trade for it, and maybe potentially as a reward from challenges, but I cannot confirm this.

Limit Breaker has the ability to raise a unit’s level cap by +10, but it can only be used once. This item is highly sought after, particularly for the top meta units in Anime Defenders. Given the awesome benefits of this item and the requirement to reach level 25 of the Athenyx Battlepass to obtain it, it seems unlikely that you can acquire it through challenges.

Infinite

According to Elle Sam from the comments, thank you, Elle! You can get Limit Breakers from completing the new Infinites in Athenyx Realm. The higher the tier, the higher the chance of getting Limit Breaker as a reward. I’m unsure about the percentage drop chance, but expect it to be low!

Challenges

However, just because I haven’t seen a rotation of the Limit Breaker in challenges, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. You can acquire the Athenyx Tether (Secret) from challenges, but the drop rate is 3%. As for the Limit Breaker, I can easily see that being 1% or even lower if it is indeed a reward from challenges. If you have seen it in challenges, then please let me know in the comments!

Trading

Since trading is now a thing in Anime Defenders, any new units or items can be traded for as long as you have what the other player wants. Since the Limit Breaker is a new and powerful item, people in the Anime Defenders Discord are asking for about 2 million Gems or 100 Rerolls in exchange.

Thanks for the info. I saw you can get it as a potential reward from the infinites in the new realm, too. Just scroll over in the rewards listing. Higher tier worlds, higher chance.
