Releasing Pokemon
To release Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you can talk to the Galaxy Member at any base camp while you are in the open world. If you’re in Jubilife Village, you can then go to the Pasture to talk to Marie, who can also give you access to your collection, which you can then release Pokemon from.
You will setup camps at various points on the map which you can fast travel to. The professor will be located there as well as a Galaxy Member NPC, who you can talk to for a variety of services. You can rest to restore your Pokemon’s health and status, change your team and release Pokemon, and shop for items.
Use the “I want to see my Pokemon” option, which will give you access to your team and Pastures. From here, you just need to select the Pokemon you want to release and they will be removed from your collection.

If you’re at Jubilife Village, you can head over to the Pasture area, which is to your immediate left when you fast travel into the village. Talk to Marie and tell her that you have some Pokemon you want to leave with her. Select the Pokemon you would like to get rid of and pick the Release option.

This can be tedious, but don’t worry about it! As you rank up your star levels on your journey through the various areas in the game, you will eventually get the ability to release multiple Pokemon at once. This is particularly useful for getting a lot of Grit items, which you need to increase your Pokemon’s Effort Levels!
That’s everything you need to know about releasing Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus! You will find a variety of informative content on the game in the Pokemon Arceus section of our website.
