Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring some new additions to the game, which means there’s a lot of new pocket monsters out there that can be collected and battled against. If you want to know what Iron Treads’s weaknesses are then we’ll walk you through them in this guide.

If you want to see all of the weaknesses and strengths of any Pokemon, head to our Pokemon Type Chart guide!

Iron Treads Weaknesses

Iron Treads is a Ground and Steel-type Pokemon, which means they have weaknesses to Fighting, Ground, Fire, and Water-type moves. It is immune to both Poison and Electric, and is resistant to Normal, Flying, Rock, Bug, Steel, Psychic, Dragon, and Fairy-type attacks.

While any Fighting, Ground, Fire, and Water-type moves will be sufficient to finish off Iron Treads, you will want to focus on Special Attack moves if you have them. Iron Treads has a much higher Physical Defense, which means you will have much better luck using Special Attacks.

As for specific Pokemon you want to avoid bringing into battle against Iron Treads, you will want to make sure to leave Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, Steel, Fairy, and Ice out. They all have at least one weakness to Iron Treads’ attacks. Iron Treads can also run Dark, Electric, and Bug moves, so be on the lookout for those when battling.

That’s everything you need to know about the moves that will be best used against Iron Treads. For more detailed guides, be sure to head to the Pokemon section of our website.
