Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 2 has brought some pretty huge new changes and players are excited to get into the action. Not only has building been temporarily disabled, brand new movements have been added to the game that will influence how you get around and dodge through gunfire in the future. That is not to mention the new Battle Pass and map you can explore.
Adding up those new features has apparently brought in a swarm of players attempting to jump in and try them out. Unfortunately, that means there are some long queue times for many people. As of this writing, we are experiencing over a 30 minute wait to get into the game.

While this is a bummer in the short-term, it still shows the potential of the game’s popularity. Fortnite still remains one of the most popular games in the world, and is still on the forefront when it comes to adding new features and pushing the envelope on the genre.
I don’t expect that these queues will last forever, but for the time being you will be stuck waiting a bit to get your chance to try things out. Try to be patient! The removal of building will reportedly last just nine days, but that’s plenty of time to get your fill!
Having no building for once will be a game changer for those who spent endless nights perfecting speed building. Times are changing.
