Behaviour Interactive's Meet Your Maker is set to get its first update next week with a rotten sea-themed Custodian, decorations, and more.

Meet Your Maker is a seemingly strange game for the famous Canadian developer, Behaviour Interactive, following its wildly successful horror title, Dead by Daylight. Meet Your Maker was released on April 4, 2023, and two and a half months later it’s getting its first major content update with Dreadshore, releasing on June 27 for all platforms.

Meet Your Maker‘s Dreadshore update is bringing new additions to basically every significant section of the game, including new decorations, a new custodian suit from Dreadshore, and more. The update seems to have a nautical or sea theme, as given away by the deep-sea-diving suit that players can now wear before heading into their next dungeon.

The new update for Meet Your Maker will have somewhat of a sea theme with the Dreadshore Arsenal pack including a deep sea-diving suit coming from the water and the decayed sea themes of the Tempest Decoration pack. These new additions include:

  • Decoration pack: Tempest Cove
  • Custodian suit: Nautilus
  • Trap: Sentry Beam
  • Weapon: Demolition Cannon
  • Guard: Ravager

Every category that affects your building will be getting a new item that will hopefully give players more options to trick opponents and prevent others from stealing their precious GenMat. The decoration pack is mainly cosmetic, reflecting the themes that BHVR is hoping to give off with this new addition. This also applies to the new Nautilus suit, which seemingly has a hollowed landmine for a head and focuses on defensive weaponry.

The Demolition Cannon is a new weapon that raiders can use, delivering a powerful explosive in a reusable shell that can be used to take down clusters of traps. The new gun is similar to the new Guard, the Ravager, which shoots multiple projectiles in a scattershot that’s harder to avoid than the guards with a single bolt but will likely cost more resources. The new trap is a beam that shoots in a straight line, but it will be interesting to see if it is able to be redirected like the flame trap.

That’s not all, there will also be new gameplay updates like a new option that recognizes kills against raiders who force quit or get disconnected from your base. Players will also be able to keep their favorite bases online forever by being able to continue to prestige repeatedly. There will also be balancing changes, updated tutorials, and Phoenix Pods being added to players’ inventory in the game by default.
