The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection is a remastered collection of three Metal Gear Solid games: Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. It comes with trophies, which have been leaked in what appears to be Spanish.

We found the video these Metal Gear Solid Master Collection trophies are in from a Reddit post. The VR Trophies that can be translated (via Google Translate) are listed below. Keep in mind that there are 19 trophies total and only 13 were visible:

  • Veteran of MGS trophies
  • Start of mission
  • Revolver Ocelot
  • M1 tank
  • VR training begins
  • The Spy Who Read
  • Bandana obtained
  • Optical camouflage obtained
  • Elite code name
  • VR training expert
  • Ninja
  • Psycho Mantis
  • Liquid Snake

The other six may be related to each of the games’ endings, because why else would you hide the trophies? In this case, many of us know what the endings are, but it appears that the trophies will be no problem for many players. You can see from the video that this is pretty legit.

Based on the leaked trophies for the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection, it seems that the collection will be relatively easy to platinum. Many of the trophies are related to completing basic tasks, such as starting a mission, obtaining certain items, or defeating certain bosses.

A few trophies give us some idea of how to obtain them. The Veteran of MGS Trophies trophy suggests that there will be trophies for completing each of the previous Metal Gear Solid games. The Revolver Ocelot and Psycho Mantis trophies obviously mean that you get them from beating those characters in the first game. The Liquid Snake trophy also must have the same acquisition. Essentially, you need to beat Liquid Snake in the first game.

These trophies look pretty basic overall, but it’s good that they’re not asking players to play every piece of notably older games, which would be tiresome. This is a good amount in my opinion.
