Ronin is the newest spec added to Sakura Stand, inspired by Samurai Jack. To unlock it, you’ll need to meet a few requirements and complete a series of tasks. This guide will walk you through getting Ronin [Unawakened] and evolving it into Ronin (Successor of Niten Ichiryu) while also explaining its moveset and abilities.

How to Get Ronin Spec in Sakura Stand
To get Ronin [Unawakened] in Sakura Stand, you need True Anubis and Mastery 5. If you don’t have these, you can’t start the Ronin Questline. Here’s our guide on how to get True Anubis in Sakura Stand.
Once you meet the prerequisites, follow these steps:
- Go to the Library and interact with the Strange on the desk. Say yes to the prompt that appears to get a quest. Then interact with the Strange Book again.
- You’ll receive a code that must be entered into the laptop, similar to Roland’s Quest.
- These numbers are random, you have to do this yourself.
- Now, interact with the bookcase in the order of the codes given, so for 236145
- Going left to right.
- Choose the second bookcase, then the third, then the sixth, etc.
- Then, submit the code on the laptop to the right of the bookcases, then interact with the Strange Book again.
- Locate the Back Alley entrance in the Dark Alley (across from Carmen) and find a small hole leading to a cave. Use the map below to help you, and at the end, you’ll find a door leading to the Back Alley and Sakurian City.
- Now, keep heading right until you find a cave, and in the cave, keep heading right. When you find a spiderweb, go right and then left to enter The Understand, and here you’ll find a Strange Book on a pedestal.
- Interact with the book, and you’ll receive a sequence of words.
- Write down these words, or screenshot, or record them. Do not forget these words or you have to come back to this location.
- Go to the Summoning Circle in the Hall of Heroes and stand in the red sigil on the ground, and press E to Chant, then say each word individually in chat.
- As soon as you enter the last word, you’ll be sent to the Mind’s Reflection to fight yourself, aka your inner spirit. If you die, you can head back to the red sigil circle and try again.
Once you’ve won the battle, return to the Stange Book again in the The Understand again, and you’ll unlock Ronin [Unawakened].
How to Get Ronin (Successor of Niten Ichiryu)
To upgrade Ronin [Unawakened] to Ronin (Successor of Niten Ichiryu), do the following:
- Go back to the Library and interact Strange Book to get a quest called “Heritic of Blades.”
- You’ll receive a quest to kill a player using one of the following specs while having Ronin [Unawakened] equipped:
- Kill a player using Astolfo x1
- Kill a player using The Black Silence x1
- Kill a player using Herrscher of Flamescion x1
- Kill a player using Cid Kagenou x1
- Kill a player using The Red Mist x1
- Kill a player using Hie Hie no Mi x1
- Kill a player using Stop Sign | Raiden x1
- Kill a player using Emperor x1
- After completing this step, go to the Back Alley book again.
- You’ll get a quest requiring you to say one of eight Chants while posing in the light at specific locations.
- Just type the chant out in chat.
- Chants: Dagaz, Berkano, Laguz, Inguz, Teiwaz, Othala, Mannaz, Ehwaz.

- Just type the chant out in chat.
- Interact with the book in the Back Alley again and fight your inner self once more.
After winning this fight, go back to the Strange Book in The Understand to unlock Ronin (Successor of Niten Ichiryu).
Ronin Spec Moveset in Sakura Stand
Passive: Swordsman’s reflex – Ronin is resistant to Time Stop abilities.
Ronin (Unawakened) Moveset

| Celestial Grace | E | The user graciously uses their Katana to slice the air upward then slashing downward, severing the arm of whoever gets hit. |
| Unity of Opposites | R | The user hops back, quickly dashing forward and leaving a diagonal cut along the enemy’s chest. |
| Void’s Liberation | T | The user cuts one way diagonally then the other way before hitting the ground with their blade, sending out four flashy projectiles. |
Ronin (Successor of Niten Ichiryu) Moveset

| Empyrean Eyes | Q | The wind flows graciously and cooperates with the user. Each strike summoning a swift gust of wind that takes form of a regular being, fighting side-by-side with the user. |
| Hanazakari | Y | The user enters a stance, if hit will cause they opponent to be struck by wind clones from all sides, disabling them. |
| Fire and Water, Earth and Wind, Void’s Path | H | The user swipes up with their katana upwards, if landed will leave a Godai sigil above their opponent’s head. When activated again will cause several wind clones to rapidly slash at their opponent, ending the move with a cut from behind by the user. |
| Niten Ichi-ryū | G | The wind bursts outward from the user, a constant aura eminating from them. Changes Celestial Grace, Unity of Opposites, and Void’s Liberation. Lasts for around 1 minute and 15 seconds. |
| Six Realms | E (G) | The user draws their katana and slashes around so fast, it stops time itself. |
| Supreme Bliss and Depravity | R (G) | The user dashes forwards and backwards at lighting speeds. |
| Mani Katti | T (G) | The user moves so fast that they are undetectable by the human eye, then rapidly slashes their opponent whilst going upwards. |
