If you’re playing Sonic Superstars and find yourself wanting more than just Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose, you’re in luck. There’s a fifth secret character hidden within the game that you can unlock. But who is this mysterious character, and how can you add them to your roster?

If you care about spoilers at all, I advise you not to read on, but if you don’t mind and are just itching to know who this secret character is in Sonic Superstars, then we know how to get them. While you’re here, if you’re trying to get the Secret Character, why not get all Chaos Emeralds and unlock the true final boss?

How to Unlock the Secret Character in Sonic Superstars

To unlock the Secret Character in Sonic Superstars, or the fifth character, Trip. All you’ll need to do is complete Story Mode. It’s as simple as that. Once you’ve beaten the game and watched the credits roll, you’ll be taken back to the main menu. Here, Trip will be unlocked, and a new story centered around her will be available. You can now use Trip in all game modes, including Time Trials.

Trip’s Unique Abilities

What sets Trip apart from the rest? She has a double jump ability similar to Amy Rose but adds a twist with spikes around her. That’s not all; if you’ve collected all the Chaos Emeralds, her Super form transforms her into a dragon, which, I can’t lie, is pretty cool.

Unlocking Trip adds more game length to your Sonic Superstars experience. Not only do you get a character with unique abilities, but you also unlock a new storyline centered around her. So go ahead, beat that Story Mode, and add Trip to your roster. You won’t regret it.
