The Front Polymer Crafting Guide

To get Polymer in The Front, you first need a Pyrolyzer. This is your first step in your Polymer production journey. To craft the Pyrolyzer, navigate to the tech tree and head down to the ‘Basics’ section. From there, scroll up until you find the Pyrolyzer.

Once you’ve unlocked it, all you need is seven Machine Parts and eight Copper Ingots to build it. Then, place it in your base. It’s pretty big, so somewhere out of the way will be a good place. The Pyrolyzer is the essential device for crafting Polymer, so ensure it’s set up as soon as possible.

How to Craft Polymer in The Front

Before you can start crafting Polymer in The Front, you’ll need two key ingredients: Resin and Crude Oil. and the Polymer recipe. Resin and Polymer are both in the same Basic tree and to the right of the Pyrolyzer. These resources are crucial for the production process. Make sure you have a steady supply of both to keep your Polymer production running smoothly. Once you have Resin and Crude Oil, interact with the Pyrolyzer, place them in the Pyrolyzer inventory bar, and craft Polymer.

How to Get Resin in The Front

To get Resin in The Front, in one of two ways. The first is cutting down trees, which is pretty slow, or the second, you can get your hands on the Grinding Table and turn wood into Resin. The Grinding Table can be found in the Supplies tree; unlock it and place it in your base. Make sure you have the Resin recipe unlocked, which you should have if you’re after Polymer. Now place wood in the Grinding Table, and it’ll convert it to Resin for you, which is much quicker than cutting down trees and hoping to get Resin.

How to Get Crude Oil in The Front

If you’re after Crude Oil in The Front, you will need The Manual Miner in the early parts of the game. This recipe can be found in Structures and at the bottom of this tree. Place it and use it to get Crude Oil. You can use the Manual Minder to get ore or Crude Oil, so ensure you select Oil. If you need to know how to use it, follow our The Front Manual Miner – How to Use guide.
