The Valorant devs just announced they’ll be hosting a Valorant x Webtoon contest between August 23rd and September 18th, 2022. In celebration of Fade and the Valorant Champions Tour event in Istanbul, Turkey, fans can submit fan art to win the contest. Here’s the big reveal from Valorant’s feed:

Valorant fans will have the chance to create their own vision of the mission to capture Fade. The art must line up with the mission as it was depicted in the İYİ GECELER – Fade Agent Trailer and The Sting in-game audio logs.

WEBTOON hosts a massive library of creator-owned digital comics, and although it started out in Korea, it’s become a worldwide phenomenon. All 10 of the winners from the Valorant crossover contest will be featured on WEBTOON.

Four Grand Prize winners and one People’s Choice winner will also get the opportunity to influence a future Gun Buddy by talking personally with Valorant’s Premium Content team.

This is a great way to give the fans a louder voice, since there’ll also be a chance to ask questions. All of the winners will be announced on October 5th, 2022.

All of the teams who have qualified for the Valorant Champions Tour have been officially set, and listed together on a recent tweet if you need a quick reminder:

Some of the biggest teams in the scene made it, so expectations and Valorant buzz are high right now. And according to Fade’s Agent Insight, many of her designs were directly influenced by Turkish culture. So, the fanart contest is a perfect fit, since VCT is going to Istanbul.

Meanwhile, WEBTOON only continues to expand, and recently drew in plenty of new fans with Red Hood: Outlaws, which just released yesterday.
