Paradox ‘You Cannot Gain Any More Potential Right Now’ Guide

When this message appears in Paradox, it means your current Potential is capped, and completing more missions will be pointless and you won’t gain any Potential whatsoever. To unlock the ability to earn more Potential, you’ll need to travel to Karakura Town and defeat Kisuke in battle.

Each faction has a different way of reaching Karakura Town. For example, if you are a Hollow, you must unsheathe your sword, open your inventory, and drag the Garganta skill to your hotbar. Using this skill will create a portal to Karakura Town. Shinigami and Quincy likely have similar methods for accessing the town.

Once you’re in Karakura Town, press the comma key (,) to highlight all NPCs and head to Kisuke. Hold E to interact with him and choose to fight. You will then be teleported to a desert arena for a one-on-one battle with Kisuke. Defeating him will uncap your Potential, allowing you to gain more.

You will need to repeat this process with Kisuke each time you want to unlock more Potential. To learn all about the progress of a Shinigami, check out: Paradox Shinigami Progression Guide.
