How to Awaken Buddha V2 in King Legacy (Update 7)
The Buddha fruit awakening transforms it from a mediocre choice to a powerful and versatile option in King Legacy.
Acquiring the Buddha Fruit
The Buddha fruit can be obtained in two ways:
- Trading: Trade with other players. While it’s currently easier to find due to its recent addition, it is still hard to find.
- In-Game Shop: You can acquire Buddha fruits by purchasing them from the in-game shop. The shop also offers a bundle including a passive slot and Dragon Fruit, which might be worthwhile depending on your needs.
Awakening the Buddha Fruit: Requirements and Steps
Before you can awaken your Buddha fruit, gather these essential items:
- Seven Buddha Fruits: One to eat initially and six more for the awakening process.
- Hefty Accessories: You’ll need both the Hefty Coat and Hefty Glasses accessories. Ensure you have them in your backpack.
How to Get Hefty Coat and Hefty Glasses in King Legacy
Both the Hefty Coat and Hefty Glasses are obtained by defeating the Hefty boss located in the Marine Headquarters.
- Hefty Coat: This epic back accessory has a 5% drop rate.
- Hefty Glasses: This rare face accessory has a 10% drop rate.
Awakening the Buddha Fruit into Buddha V2
Once you have six Buddha Fruits, along with the Hefty Coat and Hefty Glasses, you can awaken the Buddha Fruit. First, eat one Buddha Fruit. Then, add the six Buddha Fruits to the fruit symbol located to the left of the Awaken Master. To awaken your moves, talk to the Awaken Master and spend Gems.
Awakened Buddha Fruit Abilities
The awakened Buddha V2 boasts a vastly improved moveset:
- Z – Giant Transform
- Costs 5 Gems to Awaken
- X – Divine Imprint
- Costs 35 Gems to Awaken
- C – Heavenly Shot
- Costs 75 Gems to Awaken
- V – Celestial Beam
- Costs 200 Gems to Awaken
- E – Sacred Trample
- Costs 100 Gems to Awaken
The awakened Buddha form also makes you much larger, providing a significant visual presence. While transformed, you can use swords, although you cannot use other fruits simultaneously. It is important to note that the awakened Buddha takes the same percentage of damage in their large form as in human form, however attacks in human form have a longer range.
Buddha Orb: Damage Reduction and Activation
The awakened Buddha’s E ability, Buddha Orb, grants a substantial damage reduction (by a factor of five). It appears to activate based on damage dealt with M1 attacks, accumulating a “force bar.” Once the force bar is full, the Buddha Orb activates, providing the damage reduction for 30 seconds. This ability is crucial for survivability, especially in challenging battles. When the Buddha Orb is active, you are nearly invincible, making it a game-changer for both PvE and PvP combat.
