Charcadet is a new fire-type Pokémon within the region of Paldea. Charcadet can evolve to either Armarouge or Ceruledge. The evolution will vary whether the player owns Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet. Charcadet, also known as the ‘fire child,’ “Lives in many parts of Paldea” and is noted as “Very rarely seen.” In this guide, we will walk you through the sites in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet where you can find Charcadet.
Charcadet locations in Scarlet and Violet
To find Charcadet, you will have to rely on the map function of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Charcadet is evident in every region except the ice region of Glaseado Mountain, located in the far north. It can appear 24/7 in the locations shown above. Although Charcadet can spawn in most areas (as seen through the yellow highlighted areas on the map), it is still rare. Charcadet’s spawning rate is only 1-2% – Forest (1%), Mountain (1%), Cave (1%), and Rocky (1%). However, it is also speculated that Charcadet could have a fixed location where it spawns.
One fixed location where Charcadet spawns is near Mesagoza (East). Open your map and locate Mesagoza (East). Move your cursor down to the lower right and pass the bridge. Then, navigate to the location near the river (as shown in the image above) and click ‘set as the destination.’ After setting the destination, go to the Pokémon Center through the gate and move directly. Go around the mountain wall, and Charcadet should be within that area.
You may also encounter Charcadet in the West Province (Area One) near the Flying Titan Pokémon. The place is near the West Paldean sea and in the mountainous area. Although it is yet unknown how the spawn system works in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, the place stated seems to be a fixed spawn zone of Charcadet. Before battling Charcadet, save first, just in case you KO’ed it. However, if you accidentally KO’ed Charcadet, you must wait for a whole day cycle to pass until Charcadet respawns.
