Anime Defenders – How Likely Are The Secret Units?

Secret Units in Anime Defenders are very rare and are the most powerful in the game. Unlike other rare units, they are not shown on the summoning banner. The chance of getting a Secret Unit when summoning is only about 0.01%, so it’s really a test of luck. To get them, you’ll just have to keep buying the banners and basically hope to get the units. As of update 4, the developers added a way to get 3x secret units from Portals, so be sure to use those.

While it’s hard to win, there are ways to improve your chances. The first way is how you spend your Gems for summoning. Instead of summoning one at a time, try to get them in groups of 10. This way helps your chances more than single summons.

You can also use the Luck Boosts that Anime Defenders offers, which can help you get a Secret Unit. You can get these boosts by doing quests in the game or paying for them with Robux. You can also get 3x secret units from portals thank to Update 4, but this is non-tradable.

It’s important to remember that these strategies don’t promise success. Secret Units are very rare, so getting them might require a lot of Gems and maybe even Robux. While calling remains the main way to get Secret Units, the game might add other ways later. It’s a good idea to just keep trying and hoping, but not to spend too much money or gems hoping for a Secret unit.

In Update 4 Part 2, as part of the new Lucky Tickets Banner, they’ve added a Secret Pity for the first time. This guarantees that players will get a Secret Unit. The pity system counts how many times you’ve used the banner and then guarantees you a special unit as a way of pitying you. There are three, with the final and biggest one being Secret Unit. So basically, you’re guaranteed to get one secret unit by spending on this banner 2,000 times.

The current banner needs Lucky Tickets, so you need 10 Lucky tickets for a single attempt at getting the unit you want from the banner. So you need about 20,000 Lucky Tickets for a guaranteed secret unit. The standard banner has no Secret Pity System, but it may be counted in the background. Still, we wouldn’t bet on it, it’s just worth mentioning.
