How to unlock Negotiate Schedule EX Skill

To unlock Negotiate Schedule EX Skill in Octopath Traveler II, you will need to bring Partitio to the Altar of the Trader, which is located in the Wildlands at Southern Crackridge Wilds. You’ll need to be able to defeat enemies that are Level 14 or higher. He can learn the EX Skill at the Altar, which is described as “Pay a single foe to let you act during their turn.”

To get to Southern Crackridge Wilds, you’ll start by fast traveling to Crackridge Harbor: Anchorage and then go north until you get to a fork in the road and take the path on the right, east towards Southern Crackridge Wilds. You will want to keep going east, past the mine area, and then you will arrive at the Merchant Altar.

Altars are used to unlock one of a character’s EX Skills, and they are located throughout Solistia. They can sometimes be hidden from plain view, but you’ll see them on the map with a candelabra-like icon. Each altar will only allow the required character to interact with it. There are eight Altars to be discovered in the game.
