How to unlock Prayer for Plenty EX Skill

To unlock Prayer for Plenty EX Skill in Octopath Traveler II, you will need to bring Temenos to the Altar of the Flamebringer, which is located in the Crestlands at Borderfall Church. You’ll need to be able to defeat enemies that are Level 14 or higher. The EX Skill can be learned at the altar, and the skill is described as, “Restores HP to a single ally, ignoring their max HP” and costs 20 SP.

To get to Borderfall Church, you’ll need to fast travel to Flamechurch in Crestlands, then make your way towards the Eastern Flamechurch Pass. Keep going east until you reach Borderfall, and then you will need to go north upwards before turning west to get to the church. Once you are inside the Borderfall Church, look behind the bookshelf for a door to the Cleric Altar.

Altars are used to unlock one of a character’s EX Skills, and they are located throughout Solistia. They can sometimes be hidden from plain view, but you’ll see them on the map with a candelabra-like icon. Each altar will only allow the required character to interact with it. There are eight Altars to be discovered in the game.

We hope our guide on how to unlock Prayer for Plenty EX Skill in Octopath Traveler II as helped you get your character’s EX skill! Check out more of our Octopath Traveler II coverage.
