If you need help on how to unlock Teach EX Skill in Octopath Traveler II, we have a detailed guide for you!

How to unlock Teach EX Skill

To unlock Teach EX Skill in Octopath Traveler II, you will need to bring Osvald to the Altar of the Scholarking, which is located in the western Winterbloom Snows. You’ll need to be able to defeat enemies that are Level 14 or higher. He can learn the Teach EX Skill at the Altar, and this skill will grant a single ally his attribute-raising effects for 2/3/4/5 turns and costs 12 SP.

To get to the Altar of the Scholarking, which is the Scholar’s Altar, you can fast travel to Winterbloom in Winterlands, and then go west until you see a bridge. Underneath the bridge, you’ll find a secret entrance that will take you to the altar.

Altars are used to unlock one of a character’s EX Skills, and they are located throughout Solistia. They can sometimes be hidden from plain view, but you’ll see them on the map with a candelabra-like icon. Each altar will only allow the required character to interact with it. There are eight Altars to be discovered in the game.

We hope our guide on how to unlock Teach EX Skill in Octopath Traveler II as helped you get your character’s EX skill! Check out more of our Octopath Traveler II coverage.
