Octopath Traveler II is a follow-up, roleplaying game that takes place in Solistia, a land that holds the eastern and western continent that has been divided by the sea. How to unlock Ultimate Stance EX Skill

To unlock Ultimate Stance EX Skill in Octopath Traveler II, you will need to bring Hikari to the Altar of the Thunderblade, which is located in Hinoeuma in the Eastern Sai Sands. You’ll need to be able to defeat enemies that are Level 16 or higher. The EX Skill can be learned at the altar, and the skill is described as, “Extend the reach of your Attack to all foes for 3/5/7/9 turns.” It will cost 10 SP.

To get to the Warrior Altar, you’ll need to fast travel to Canalbrine in Harborlands and go west towards the Canalbrine Bridge. From here, you’ll need to go south to get to Western Conning Creek Coast. Once there, go west until you see a delipidated temple area, where you’ll look for stairs to get down to the altar.

Altars are used to unlock one of a character’s EX Skills, and they are located throughout Solistia. They can sometimes be hidden from plain view, but you’ll see them on the map with a candelabra-like icon. Each altar will only allow the required character to interact with it. There are eight Altars to be discovered in the game.
