To make the most out of Kingambit and succeed in the Tyranitar Tera Raid, you must know the best moveset and held item for this Pokémon. In addition, it is ideal for Kingambit to have a Dark Tera Type to double the power of its Dark-type moveset.

Kingambit’s Kowtow Cleave move allows it to precisely slash at the target after kowtowing to make the target let down its guard. Kingambit should also have a Night Slash which will allow it to slash the target the instant an opportunity arises and provide it with an increased Critical Hit ratio. Kingambit’s moveset should also include Swords Dance which can sharply boost its Attack stat.

It is also ideal to give Kingambit an Adamant Mint to further increase its Attack stat. In the Tyranitar Tera Raid, Kingambit should also have a Lum Berry held item to cure itself of any status condition it may have. Lum Berry is usually found randomly around the Paldea as sparkling dropped items on the ground.
