How to Get Bone Scythe in King Legacy

The Bone Scythe can be acquired in King Legacy through crafting or as an extremely rare drop from a formidable new boss, the Skull King.

Method 1: Crafting the Bone Scythe

The Bone Scythe can be crafted by speaking to the Heyxley Hallow NPC on Halloween Island. But Halloween Island appears at a different location depending on what see you are in:

  • In front of Zombie Island (First Sea)
  • In front of Skull Island (Second Sea)
  • Between the Unearthly and The Hallow (Third Sea)

However, the crafting recipe requires a significant number of Bones and other resources listed below:

  • 1500x Candy
  • 2x Hydra Tails
  • 10x Sea King Fins
  • 1750x Bones

How to Get Candy

In the latest Halloween update on Halloween Island, Candy serves as a resource for crafting or summoning. It can be obtained from various enemies, with around a 25% drop chance from any Zombie on Zombie Island (First Sea), a 25% chance from any Skeleton on Skull Island (Second Sea), and approximately a 30% chance from any Monkey in The Shallow (Third Sea).

How to Get Bones

Pile of Bones are dropped by Skull Pirates (Lvl 3050) on Skull Island in Second Sea. An efficient method for farming Bones is using Rumble near several of these bosses at once. Alternatively, Quake, with its large area-of-effect attack, can also speed up the process, though it requires a higher level (1750). Going AFK is your best method here.

How to Get Sea King Fins

You can get Sea King Fins from Sea King bosses, but the drop rate is unknown, though I do believe it’s a pretty low percentage.

The Sea King is considered one of the most formidable bosses in the game, resembling one of the sea kings from One Piece, with its color randomized. It boasts a massive 1,575,000 HP and spawns every hour on public and private servers.

The Sea King can be found on Legacy Island, which has a randomized location, typically situated far behind an island in the Second Sea. Players can utilize the gamepass known as Legacy Pose to locate Legacy Island quickly.

How to Get Hydra Tails

Hydra Tails can be obtained by defeating the Hydra boss or by opening the Hydra Chest in the Second Sea, where there is a 5% chance of receiving one as a drop.

Method 2: Defeating the Skull King

The Skull King, a formidable new boss in Third Sea, also has a 1.5% chance of dropping the Bone Scythe. This new boss added in update 7.1 (Halloween) has 5,000,000 Health. If you have 2x Drop, you have a 3% chance of getting the Bone Scythe as a drop.

Skull King Location and Spawn Times

The Skull King appears approximately once an hour on the new Halloween Island, located in both the Second and Third Seas. Its spawning occurs roughly an hour after it is defeated, and notably, the number of times it spawns increases with each defeat.

Spawn times are influenced by the average time servers take to defeat the boss. To predict the spawn time, multiply the server age in hours by 4 minutes (e.g., in an 8-hour-old server, the boss would spawn around 8 hours and 32 minutes server time). This method helps account for the fact that the boss’s respawn timer begins after its defeat, leading to slight deviations in spawn times on older servers.

Bone Scythe Moveset

The Bone Scythe has two main moves:

  • Z Move: Reaper’s Tempest
    • The user swings their scythe upwards to create a large ground cyclone that surrounds them. Any enemies caught in this skill will be dragged toward the user.
    • This attack inflicts burn damage every 2 seconds.
  • X Move: Skeletal Beam
    • The user swings their scythe in front of them to generate a massive orange beam.
    • If the beam hits an enemy, it will push them to the edge of the beam and briefly stun them.

Bone Scythe Upgrade – All Materials Required

How to Upgrade the Bone Scythe

Upgrading the Bone Scythe enhances its damage and requires the following:

  • Candy x25
  • Sea’s Wraith x4
  • Samurai Badges x4
  • Pile of Bones x15

How to Get Sea’s Wraith

Sea’s Wraith is an epic material found in the Ghost Ship’s chests, with each chest offering about a 5% chance of obtaining it.

How to Get Samurai Badges

Samurai Badges, an Epic material with a 1-5% drop chance, can be obtained in the Second Sea at Japan Island, the starter island. You can acquire these badges by defeating the Kappa boss (Level 2950), Kitsune Samurai (Level 2650), Violet Samurai (Level 2500), or the King Samurai, who is a Raid Boss.
