Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have prepared a challenging black Tera Raid time-limited event where players may have a chance to get a Charizard with the Mightiest Mark. Charizard is rarely encountered in Paldea, and the Charizard that appears during this event has Dragon as its Tera Type, making it both a formidable opponent and a powerful ally.
Azumarill is a Water and Fairy Type Pokémon that is excellent against Fire and Dragon-type Pokémon, making it the perfect choice for the upcoming seven-star Charizard Tera Raid. If you want to know the best build for Azumarill for the Charizard Tera Raid, we’ve got you covered in this guide!
Best Azumarill Move Set and Held Item
To use Azumarill effectively in the Charizard Tera Raid, you must know the best move set and held item that this Pokémon must have. In addition, your Azumarill must have the Fairy Tera Type. It is recommended for Azumarill to have the Belly Drum move. Although getting this move for Azumarill would take a lot of effort, Belly Drum is effective in maximizing the Pokémon’s Attack stat (6 stages).
To get the Belly Drum move for Azumarill, you will need a Mirror Herb from Delibird Presents and a Hariyama who knows Belly Drum. Remove one of Azumarill’s moves to make room for it to learn Belly Drum. Then, make Azumarill hold the Mirror Herb and host a picnic with Hariyama and Azumarill only. After a while, Azumarill should have learned the Belly Drum move from Hariyama.
Azumarill must also have the Fairy-type move Play Rough, which inflicts damage and has a chance of lowering the target’s Attack by one stage. The Superpower move will also decrease the opponent’s Attack and Defense by one level. In addition, Azumarill must have the Liquidation move, which has a 20% chance to reduce the opponent’s Defense by one stage.
It is also best to give Azumarill an Adamant Mint to maximize its Attack stat. In the Charizard Tera Raid, Azumarill should also hold a Shell Bell so that it is healed according to the tremendous damage it will be dealing with as Belly Move may cause it to lose half of its HP.
