Wild Hearts is a fast-paced action game with a vibrant, stylized aesthetic and a synth-pop soundtrack, where players travel through surreal and dreamlike landscapes, battling foes, and dodging obstacles. At launch, there are eight different weapons in the game, so we have put together this Wild Hearts Claw Blade Guide to help you understand how this weapon works, the best way to wield it, and when to use it in the game.
Wild Hearts Claw Blade Weapon Guide
The Claw Blade is a lightweight, melee weapon that works well for close combat and to help dodge attacks, as it has excellent mobility in the air. Its Attack 1 delivers lightning-fast attacks, while Attack 2 helps you reposition. Its Special Attack command pierces a Kemono with the weapon’s “claw,” which effectively turns it into a grappling hook.
How to unlock the Claw Blade
To unlock the Claw Blade weapon in Wild Hearts, you will need to complete the first chapter of the Wild Hearts main storyline. Thankfully, this shouldn’t take too long, so you will be able to unlock this weapon quickly and start to train with it.
How to use the Claw Blade
The Claw Blade is excellent for fighting Kemono in close range, so whenever you do not need to be at range, it is a worthy weapon to wield. When you’re in striking range, you can use Attack 1 for a fast-paced melee attack, but if you need to dodge an incoming attack, using Attack 2 to reposition yourself to avoid taking damage.
Every time you have a successful hit using the Claw Blade, you will build up its Claw Gauge. Once you have done so, you’ll be able to use the Claw Blade’s Special Attack, which pierces a Kemono with the claw and turns it into a grappling hook so that you can land multiple aerial attacks.
We hope our Wild Hearts Claw Blade Guide has helped you to understand how the weapon works, the best way to wield it, and when to use it in the game. Check out more of our Wild Hearts coverage!
